Commercial exterior painting of bridge, railings & hoardings

Our Commercial client had a number of commercial exterior painting requirements, which included bridges, railing and hoardings as detailed below:-

The bridges required us to prepare and paint 3 communal bridges in the grounds of one of the business parks that they maintain. This included all wood and metal work. The work needed to be done outside normal working hours, as it is a very busy business park.

All metal work was prepared via a mixture of cleaning and sanding then painted using 2 coats of Rust-Oleum Combi Colour paint to a specific RAL Colour. The wood was prepared by being jet washed and then we applied a Non Slip, Oakwood Stain to all wooden tread.

The railings and gates were in regular use during the working week, the work needed to be completed outside of normal working hours.  All metal work was prepared via a mixture of cleaning and sanding then painted using 2 coats of Gloss Black Rust-Oleum Combi Colour paint.

The hoardings, which surrounded unsightly wasteland, were approximately 60ms in length and made of wood.  This required us to paint and preserve the wood at the same time.  We therefore treated the wood and painted it using Matt Black Exterior Paint.

All of this was completed over a weekend and involved liaising with the grounds security staff.
